Ever since INSS was formed it had vouched for the rural and urban development and to uplift and bring a change in the socio-economic scenario of man and his environment. We in INSS are in a constant process to work for the people and to help the downtrodden, for the betterment of their health, wealth and livelihood.

To bring in a maximum result within a stipulated resource INSS believe in a sectoral focuses.

Health Care
A wareness and sensitization camp for community health care promotion aimed at providing health education on reproductive and child health.
  • Strengthening Polio Eradication and Routine immunization through Social Mobilisation Support.
  • Preventing maternal mortality and morbidity.
  • Preventing unsafe abortion.
  • A ten bedded health clinic centre has been instituted with facilities of regular health check up, immunization, residential treatment, operation, free distribution of medicines to the poor in Patharpratima block.
  • A pathological laboratory has been set up.
  • Ambulance services in patharpratima and surrounding block of South 24 Paraganas district.
  • Providing health Insurance for the poor.
  • Reducing gender based violence.
INSS supports community set up Non-Formal education centre to promote functional literacy among illiterate adults and out of school,working children.
  • Pre-Primary and Remedial centre are operated for drop-out children.
  • Parents are motivated to enroll their children in formal school.
  • Needy students are supported financially or sponsored through individual donations for their education.
Community Development
INSS emphasizes on builiding capacities of grassroots level groups to raise their voices against culture taboos and gender biases.
  • Organizing regular sensitization workships and leadership development training camps for the various village level groups, youth self help groups and women's self Help groups in about 75 villages of five blocks.
